This training is intended for executives and others who are (or will be) leading a formal performance initiative like Lean Six Sigma. Scorecards, Dashboards & KPIs

Working with enterprise leadership we provide a framework to develop and deploy a system of enterprise metrics based on the "Balanced Scorecard" concept. Enterprise deployment involves connecting scorecards to dashboards, and dashboards to KPIs with the necessary infrastructure to collect, store, present, and analyze the scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs.

Lean Six Sigma Champions

In this training participants master the knowledge and skills required to fill the role of a Project Champion for a Lean Six Sigma Belt project. Among the key success factors for any Lean Six Sigma Project is the role of the Project Champion. Effective Champion participation makes an important difference to all Lean Six Sigma projects. Participants learn the basics of the Lean Six Sigma methods and tools, how to select projects, and what their individual roles and responsibilities are in the successful completion of a Lean Six Sigma project.

Value Stream Mapping

In this training participants master the knowledge and skills required to construct a current state Value Stream Map (VSM) and use the VSM to identify opportunities to eliminate waste and create flow in the value stream. In addition, participants will learn to create a future state VSM reflecting the plan changes to eliminate waste and create flow.

Design of Experiments (DOE)

Understanding factors that determine process outcomes is critical to improvement, problem solving, and process control. The gold standard for establishing cause and effect is experimentation. Understanding the basic principles of planned experimentation is important to effective change and improvement.

Statistical Process Control (SPC)

A fundamental concept of all process improvement methods is the importance of achieving process stability prior to any significant process changes aimed at improvement. Further, tremendous waste can be eliminated by effectively using control charts to respond to special and common causes of variation. Process management systems and the measure and control phases of the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC method all use control charts.

Rapid Improvement Events (RIE)

Our Rapid Improvement Event (REI) training is intended to train facilitators who are interested in achieving immediate improvement in performance through the practical implementation of change. The RIE training engages the participants in planning for the RIE, reviewing the current work flow process, conducting the RIE, and following up on action items and reviewing results.
